They also give advice on diet and preventing dental decay. Hygienists are also on hand to remove stains on teeth that can build up from a busy lifestyle – such as smoking, red wine , tea, coffee etc.
They will also give you the knowledge on how you can be more efficient in cleaning at home so you are not waiting for your next hygiene visit to have your mouth feel cleaner.
Improving Oral Health London
When you go to visit your dental hygienist you will be given an initial score and assessment on the condition of your teeth and gums. Over the course of your treatment, each time you visit, we will assess your continuing teeth and gum condition against the initial score. You then be able to see if your dental hygiene and oral healthcare routine is improving over time. This provides an accurate way of measuring your oral healthcare and ensuring that you are staying healthy in the long term.

A kid friendly version of our routine hygiene treatment with less scaling and more opportunity to learn about a tooth friendly diet and effective brushing. Bring your toothbrush!
Learn To Brush For Kids – £30
Let your child bring their toothbrush and our hygienist will teach them effective brushing techniques – educational and fun with a prize at the end!
Braces Care – £60
If you are currently wearing a fixed orthodontic appliance, keeping up with your oral hygiene can be challenging and is more important than ever. The hygienist will carefully clean around the brackets as well as all other areas to help keep your teeth and gums healthy.
‘Night Out’ Polish – £35
Brighten up with Air Flow Polishing for a night out or an important date.
Using a mixture of air, jet water and sodium bicarbonate, air flow polishing will remove stains caused by coffee, tea, wine and tobacco, leaving your teeth feeling smooth and fresh.
N.B. This option does not substitute a scale & polish session.
Dietary Advice – £30
Let your diet support your oral health. Discuss and improve any dietary issues you might have affecting your oral cavity.
Sensitivity Treatment – £40
Tired of sensitivity? Our hygienist can apply a desensitization gel using a special tray.
