Childrens Dentistry…

…because little teeth matter too!

Family dentist in the heart of Fulham

‘Baby teeth’, ‘milk teeth’ or ‘deciduous’ teeth  are essential in the development of the mouth, paving way for our adult teeth which we’ll (if we’re lucky) have for the rest of our lives. Beginning to show signs around the 9 month mark, a full set of baby teeth will be through by their 2nd birthday.

The first few visits to the dentist chair can be scary – especially when you’re so young. We aim to treat your little ones with as much care and patience as they need.

At Karma Dental Care, we will help you instil healthy habits to protect their smiles for years to come. A full range of dental treatments are available for the specific needs of our patients at every age.

If your child is nervous, our team will be on hand to make sure their experience is as stress-free as possible. We even have dental dog ‘Barry’ who can come and take your child’s mind off their treatment before and after.

Please ask if you or your child would like to meet him, he’s very friendly and loves children!

Unsure of when to take your child for their first check up?

The British Society of Paediatric Dentistry (BSPD) suggests no later than their first birthday when they are aware of their surroundings. Dental fear affects 1 in 4 of us to varying degrees and we believe making your child comfortable early on will help prevent dental anxiety in the future.

By introducing your child to their dentist early we can establish a relationship and element of trust leaving them relaxed during their visits. We can then spot any issues before they develop into anything more serious. From early tooth decay to overcrowding, these can be treated preventing any major tooth damage.

On their first visit we will assess any cavity risks and talk through any signs that dummies and thumb sucking may be influencing normal tooth growth. We will also share tips and advice for at home measures to further prevent tooth decay including brushing techniques, flossing and diet to contribute to your child’s positive oral health.

An absolute outstanding Dentist!

“Like most of us, I have never been a great fan of the dentist. Unpleasant experiences at the hands of my childhood dentist stuck with me into adulthood and so I found myself doing my upmost to avoid routine checkups. Finally, after years of neglect to my dental hygiene i decided to seek an alternative practice. Welcome Karma Dental Care. What can I say… An absolute outstanding Dentist.

Karnan, Carolin and the rest of the team are an absolute pleasure. Karnan himself is a perfectionist who walks you through every detail. I truly feel comfortable and safe in the knowledge I am receiving the best care. It’s an hour plus drive for me to get there by car, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. 5* service and without hesitation I highly recommend.”
