With clear aligners, straightening your teeth couldn’t be easier. We use Smilelign for this revolutionary method. These clear braces are virtually invisible and remove the need for traditional and obvious wire braces, allowing you to discreetly undergo treatment and achieve your future smile.

Smilelign consists of a series of clear aligners, each marginally different in shape, that fit over your teeth and move them in gradual stages until they are in the desired position. They are removable, comfortable and, in comparison to fixed brackets, remarkably improve your overall oral hygiene.

So how does the process work?

Book a consultation.

In your initial appointment we’ll assess your teeth are suitable for the treatment. If so, we’ll take initial impressions which are sent off to the UK Smilelign lab.

Planning.

At the lab, your impressions are scanned by a skilled technician. This is where the precision planning begins. The movement of each tooth is plotted using specialised software to predict your future smile. This plan is then sent back to Karma Dental.

Return appointment.

When we have your treatment pan back from the lab we’ll show you what can be achieved. We’ll also have you try out a set of pre-aligners, these act like the clear braces will but without the pressure needed to move your teeth into their new positions.

Let’s begin.

If you are happy with how your teeth will look we can begin your treatment. Your aligners will be custom made to fit your teeth. Each brace is worn for 3-4 weeks, gently moving your teeth in the direction of your treatment plan. You then switch aligners and continue through your course.

Smile!

Once complete, you won’t be able to stop smiling! We’ll talk through how to maintain your gorgeous new smile and you’re on your way.

If you’re interested in beginning your Smilelign journey, contact us to book your first consultation and we’ll answer any questions you may have.
